Words and Pictures (well, mostly words)

I decided to jump on the bandwagon and do a little 'dialect' videopost like everyone else in the blogosphere (well, a couple people anyway); My voice is kinda weird I know, I'm slightly icky this morning and that definitely shows. Oh, and sorry about the high pitched 'keening' noise, it's the silly webcam ^_^;

What to do;

Say these words:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught

Now answer these questions:
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you change the TV channel with?

  1. Nyaw! You're voice doesn't sound weird and your accent is adorable!

  2. Cute vid, I love your accent. I dunno how they call it in the states but when its raining and there is sun where I live ppl say that the witches are getting married, so go figure!

  3. I'm always curious if I'd understand people with different English accents :) I love yours and understood everything! It's always kind of surprising to me to hear a blogger's voice because we usually only read what bloggers write and only sometimes get the chance to actually hear them. I actually like your voice! It sounds friendly to mee :)

  4. I did one of these too. I love hearing other peoples voices from the blogs I follow. Very cute!

  5. yayyyy <33
    you finally did it!!! :)

  6. not weird at all but totally cute :D

  7. You are so cute!! haha
    In America we call throwing toilet paper on someones house "T.P.ing" someones house. When you said "We just call it vandalism" I laughed so hard!

  8. You are so cute. I think this meme is definitely skewed towards Americans so it's interesting to hear other people do it. Especially calling gym shoes "pumps," when in the U.S. that word generally refers to high heels.
