Somewhere between Stoke and Newport I managed to lose my khaki parka, also known as my favourite and bestest coat ever. I nabbed this one off of Dorothy Perkins in the sale and on the surface it sounded brilliant; fur hood, detachable shearling, etc. etc. But on receiving it I'm not so sure. It seems a little... voluminous all over and I'm afraid if I go down a size I will also end up with a lot shorter arms. So I'm putting it out to you readers; keep or return? Please excuse the awful pictures too; my room is dark so shutter speed is slow!

I like it - like the way it nips in at the waist and puffs out. i say 'keep'! xXx
ReplyDeleteparka = good, nipped in waist = excellent
ReplyDeletei hate to say this but i have to and i want you to know i just adore your style. that said, i don't think this fits too well. it's weird, it looks so nice in the close-ups but i don't like it very much in the first two photos! hope you won't take it bad! (and i hope this message made sense since english is not my first language.)

Hmm - I see what you mean about the voluminocity (nothing quite like making up a word...). I like the waist nippage but am not keen on the puffage at the bottom xx
ReplyDeleteThe puffiness is pretty horrible, honestly.
ReplyDeleteit seems a bit to volumious on the bottom the nip in at the waist is good though
