A couple days ago I went to Blackbrook Zoological Park with the boyfriend and his housemate, through a deal we got on groupon that made it lots cheaper. It was a really nice day out! The nice weather might have been intermittent but there were still lots of animals out to see; I particularly loved the Lemurs and the Warty Pigs! These photos were taken on a little digital camera but I thought they came out pretty well anyway;

I love the meerkats and kangaroos :) We have wallabies at our local safari park/zoo but no kangaroos (or at least there weren't any last time I went!)

ReplyDeleteI love seeing photos from Zoo's in other countries. It's amazing to see people get excited over animals, that I guess I take for granted. I can travel a couple of hours and see dozens of Kangaroos & or wallabies.
I love meerkats, I could easily set up a seat at any meerkat enclosure and just watch them for hours!
That's a Blackbuck, the male ones have lovely twisty antlers but they were too far away to get photos of :( I agree about the meerkats, there were also some pygmy moongoose('s?) that were adorable but they moved so fast I couldn't get a clear picture! xxx
