I love gift-giving at christmas time; it's really fun thinking up inventive presents to give people that will actually mean something, and one creative but easy way to that is sites like Jessops, Photoline and Photobox that allow you to create gifts using photographic prints; anything from poster printing services to canvases and even cute little ideas like snowglobes. If you're really artsy you could even use it as a method of turning digital drawings and illustrations into something meaningful or someone you love. So, what do you think? will you be getting photo-based gifts this christmas, do you like being creative and crafty when it comes to presents? This is one of my favourite photos I've taken and in my opinion it would look great as part of a gift, as a poster or perhaps a canvas;

That's a beautiful photo. It would make a good gift idea!

DeleteI love giving and getting crafty/homemade gifts (especially baked goods). I love the idea of a print, I was just thinking of doing that for me mum :)
ReplyDeleteI made little marble (milk/white) chocolates in a heart-shaped ice cube tray last year, I'm quite tempted to grab a star wars one to use this year ;)
DeleteOmg, send me some Star Wars chocolate! hehe
DeleteIt's really great when Wallgreens gives away from photo collages. I made got one of those and put silly pictures of me and my siblings on it, then got a pretty frame from a craft store and that was my mothers day gift for mom last year.
ReplyDeleteI get calendars made up on Vistaprint from my SLR photos to give to a my nearest and dearest. I didn't do it one year and everyone was really disappointed so I always make sure to do it now. xx
