Since I grabbed some Real Techniques brushes (a post to come about that soon!), I've been trying to practice doing a full face of makeup more often. I tend to be more into just dabbing a bit of concealer on and leaving it at that, but I'm learning! Here's a 'FOTD' I did the other day. Apologies for the Hoodie and hair, the purpose of the makeup was just to see what it looked like rather than a leaving-the-house thing ;) To those out there more makeup savvy than me, what are the best tips or tricks you could give me? I'd love to know.

I'm really into applying foundation with a flat 'skunk' brush. After years of thinking liquid and brushes shouldn't mix, I wouldn't be without that technique now. It just makes the application so much more seamless and gives an airbrushed look, plus it doesn't look caked on.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice! The first time I applied I used the designated 'foundation' brush but the second time around I used the buffer brush thing and the results were loads better! x
