Beauty Bits; Sanctuary Thermal Detox Mask

I'm always looking for new bits and pieces in terms of skincare. For the past while I've been using the 'Fab Pore' mask from Soap and Glory but since it hasn't been wielding amazing results I decided to grab something a little different and went for this Charcoal-based Detox Mask by Sanctuary. I picked up in Boots for £10.50, along with a free candle and some shower foam stuff (for the extra point when you spend £15). I'd never used a charcoal or detox mask so I wasn't sure what to expect.

First of all, it takes serious effort to get anything out of the tube because the stuff is super thick. This isn't necessarily a negative thing as unlike runny masks you don't end up with more product than you need, which means you waste some. It's pretty difficult to spread so I warmed it up between my fingers first; and it does get very warm and cools again quite quickly, which is nice as I know it's doing something. Lastly, and the thing I was expecting least; the back of the tube describes the smell as 'naturally fragranced with plant extracts and essential oils', but if I'm not mistaken it smells really strongly of... Playdough! At least, what it smelled of when I was little. An odd smell for a beauty product, I have to admit. However, this is a good product and my skin does feel sort of 'Detoxed' aftwerwards, so it does what it says on the tin (tube). Not sure on repurchase yet because I've got so much left, but I definitely will consider it. What face mask would you recommend?
