Recently, I've been more and more intrigued by makeup. I've always owned some for special occasions (that are very rare, unfortunately!), but other than the odd wedding/party/etc. I'm generally a no make-up zone. However, when Money Supermarket contacted me with their 'What's In Your Pocket?' challenge, I jumped at the chance. The premise of this challenge is finding that £20 note you didn't know you had and what you'd buy with it. Like many other girls I'm sure, I have trouble justifying purchases I don't really need unless the money is spare; e.g. realising I'd already paid a bill I've set money aside for, which makes it 'free money'. So going with the flow of the challenge, I nipped across to Boots and grabbed one of the Real Techniques basic brush sets. I really want to teach myself to do my own makeup properly, because then it will be a less frustrating thing and I might do it more often! If you found £20, what would you spend it on? And why?

If I found an extra, I'll just say $20 (because I'm not sure exactly what the conversion rate is)I would spend it a nice, vibrant nail polish. I'm really getting more into doing my nails, and need to start building my collection to create more interesting designs.
