Weston Fashion Gala

Hello lovely readers! The other day I decided to be a *real life fashion blogger* and go and take some photos of, well, fashion! It may not be LFW, but the Weston-Super-Mare Fashion Gala wasn't all that shabby (though I may be a little biased because I got a free ticket for attending :p). I've got to admit, if they run another one next year I would love to see a bit more 'young' fashion. Other than the Weston College students, who came out with some brilliant and very fashion-forward pieces that I would love to see more of (and they made them in only three weeks, would you believe?), the stores featured were definitely aimed at the 50+ crowd, and at the very least 30+; not really my scene! So to be honest the majority of the photos I took are from the first half of the show with Weston College because they photographed much better - very pattern and colour intensive. So here's my snaps;

  1. I live in WSM and had no idea about this, it sounds interesting, although I'm not surprised most of the clothing was aimed at over fifties as that seems to be the sorts of shops Weston is filled with!

    1. It's a shame though considering how good the Weston College stuff was, and it was definitely aimed at younger people; if Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Internacionale, Animal or New Look had gotten involved I feel it would've been much more of a success in a younger age bracket xx
