Apparently, 'texture' is the latest thing in the nail world, after those ball things that look like they go on cakes and fuzzy felt. As you may guess I was a little skeptical about the wearability of this latest trend and having brought the 'Atlantic Road' blue version from Barry M I'm still not 100% sure. I mean, it's a little odd, isn't it? The polish comes out the bottle smooth and dries to a mottled texture that look a bit like a badly plastered wall and a little like there's loads of air bubbles under it. It feels a bit sandpapery too but overall, the colour is nice enough and the 'texture' thing is a bit of a novelty. I won't be buying the whole range but I will make use out of this bottle.

It looks quite cool. I tend to fall out of love pretty quickly with gimmicky nail things (matte, crackle etc), so I don't know if I'd buy it. It would certainly be a quick manicure, I guess it wouldn't matter if it was streaky, uneven etc, lol!

ReplyDeleteYes I saw these are those tiny balls that go on your nails, last time I was at the mall... it's a bit weird but I'm always willing to try it. The colour is really nice!

ReplyDeleteHmm I'm not sure either about the whole texture varnishes around at the moment. Have you seen the little balls you can sprinkle over your nails?
