Ecosewer Cotton Pads

This might be a bit TMI for some so if you're squeamish about that kind of thing you might want to skip this post! However, I couldn't resist writing a little bit about these lovely cloth pads I received in the post the other day from UK Etsy seller EcoSewer. For years and years now, I've been using standard disposable pads and probably spent hundreds of pounds in the process (at least £10-15 a month!). I very much doubt there's anything that makes that time of the month enjoyable but when I began reading up on the alternatives reusable pads were definitely the option that stood out the most. Yes, there is a little extra work involved as you need to soak them but they can then just be stuck in the washing machine and hung to dry; definitely a plus. Do any of you use alternative products for your TOM? have you tried cloth pads? let me know!

  1. I've never seen these before, I've considered one of those cups too. You're right, pads cost a fortune.

  2. These are a great idea and I've been mulling over something like this for a couple of years. But because I'm 40 I'm worried I'll go into early menopause and not reap the benefits, hahaha. Now that's TMI! x x

  3. This is such a great idea and so much better than buying pads which then have to be thrown away all the time. I always think about this whenever it's the time of the month and now there is something out there more planet friendly! Definitely going to have to give these a go :)
